Harry Potter fans will be able to get their hands on a brand new magical book within weeks

Harry Potter fans can rejoice as there’s a new project coming out next month with never before seen stories.

Titled ‘From the Wizarding Archive’, this project combines a creative selection of Harry Potter from Pottermore-turned-WizardingWorld.com. Witch and wizard fans will be able to dig into 80 articles and anecdotes about the world of Harry Potter, including backstories on big characters and additional context on the stories you might not have known – all originally written by J.K. Rowling.

Each piece of writing will be linked together with some fresh editorial observations from the Pottermore Publishing team, alongside a heartfelt foreword from self-confessed superfan Evanna Lynch herself – AKA THE Luna Lovegood.

It will be launched as a two-volume eBook and an audiobook format. From the Wizarding Archive will be published as both a single volume audiobook and two-volume eBook.

Fans will be able to read 45 articles in Volume One of the eBook and 35 in Volume Two.

These pieces were previously published in 2016 as the ‘Pottermore Presents’ series of three eBooks.

Fans will also be able to purchase both Volume One and Two together in a combined edition.

The audiobook has been narrated by Evanna Lynch (Luna Lovegood), with Hugh Quarshie, Finlay Robertson and Lara Sawalha reading J.K. Rowling’s original articles.

The narration will also be supported by an enchanting sound design and original music composed by Sara Carvalho.

It is available to pre-order now and will be available as an eBook and audiobook and will be released on 29th August.

Following the English language launch, the German, French, Italian and Spanish eBooks and audiobooks will be published in November this year with further languages anticipated later on.

All author royalties will be donated by Pottermore Publishing to the Lumos Foundation on behalf of J.K. Rowling, expected to be a minimum of £1 (or the local currency equivalent) for each copy of From the Wizarding Archive sold.
