Who wouldn’t want to be “In da Club” with 50 Cent and Ed Sheeran?
During 50 Cent’s Final Lap Tour stop at the O2 Arena in London on Tuesday, the 48-year-old rapper was joined on stage by Sheeran for a surprise performance of the 32-year-old singer-songwriter’s 2017 hit “Shape of You.”
Before hopping on stage, Sheeran posted to his Instagram Story to document the experience. “50 Cent has invited me to the O2 to sing ‘Shape of You,'” he said, before joking: “I’m going to walk on stage and go, ‘Who likes ‘In da Club’? Here’s ‘Shape of You.'”
The British musician then shared a video of himself walking backstage during 50 Cent’s show, singing along as the headliner performed his 2003 hit “21 Questions.”
After filming himself getting on a stage lift, Sheeran posted a clip of the “Shape of You” performance, which saw 50 Cent stand alongside a large box featuring the text, “THERE IS A MONSTER IN THIS BOX” — which lifted to reveal his special guest.
The pair shared a handshake-hug as Sheeran sang the lyrics of “Shape of You” — surprisingly unaccompanied by his guitar — and 50 Cent delivered ad-libs.

Sheeran continued filming his time at the O2 Arena, asking his security guard Kevin Myers for his thoughts on the performance. “It was good. It was good!” exclaimed Myers.
“Alright, I’m gonna go back and watch the gig now with 50 Cent’s biggest fan,” said Sheeran, pointing to Myers.
Sitting in the back of the arena, the “Thinking Out Loud” musician filmed himself watching and singing along to 50 Cent’s music and shared a video of the rapper performing “In da Club.”

“Alright, that’s it then. 50 Cent over,” said Sheeran in his final Instagram Story video of the night.
Later, 50 Cent shared photos to X (formerly Twitter) of himself and Sheeran hanging out backstage. “My man came through for me tonight, BOOM,” he wrote. “LONDON went crazy! It don’t get bigger than this.”
In a follow-up post, 50 Cent shared a video of Sheeran’s Instagram Story documentation of the evening and wrote, “Ed Sheeran had the o2 going crazy good times, I had a ball.”
