In a recent interview with Boy Abunda at the Maybank Performing Arts Theater, Heart Evangelista opened up about her rumored feud with Pia Wurtzbach and her fallout with her former glam team. The fashion icon emphasized the importance of professionalism in the industry and clarified that attending Fashion Week should not be a source of conflict.

Moving Forward from Past Conflicts

Heart reflected on her past experiences, stating, “There are some things I feel that, you know, okay naman tayo, eh. Wala namang ganoon. But again, you have to go on with your life.” She expressed gratitude for her current situation, noting that personal growth often requires moving on from certain relationships. “I do not question what happened. In fact, I feel like all of this, you have to get to the next chapter of your life. You will never be able to get to that next chapter if you have certain people with you. And so because of that, I’m actually thankful that these things happen… But that’s done. And truly, I’m thankful. I’m thankful to each and every person.”

Finding Closure with Her Former Glam Team

When pressed about finding closure with her former glam team, Heart admitted that the experience was painful. “Yes, in the most painful way. Nagpapakatotoo lang tayo. There are some people that you’ve allowed to enter your life. Not just friends, but even lovers in your past. For you to be strangers is very painful. You’ve shown them your heart and along showing them your heart comes your deepest, darkest secrets. For some people to take that, chop that up, and sell it to people, it’s very painful… But all I know is… I am who I am because of everything,” she shared.

Embracing Her “Soft Girl” Era

At the same event, Heart also discussed her current phase in life, describing it as her “soft girl” era now that she is in her 40s. “Once you reach your 40s, [softness] comes with that innate poise, that really comes with experiences… I’m glad I made it to 40. Literally, I really went through a war path,” she remarked, highlighting her journey and the wisdom that comes with age.
