CEBU, Philippines — Social media influencer and actress Bea Borres is expecting her first child — and her ex-boyfriend, Meray Yamada, has confirmed that he is the father.
In a now-deleted comment posted on TikTok, Yamada — the vice president of sales at iShip Logipack Incorporated, a logistics company owned by his family — publicly acknowledged paternity and pledged his full support for both Bea and their baby.
“Things may not have worked between Bea and I, but I never said I didn’t want to be there for our baby,” Meray wrote. “I may not have handled our situation the best as of late, but walking away has never been an option for me.”
His emotional message continued with a vow to step up in his new role as a father.
“I’m here. And I’m going to do whatever it takes to be the best father I can be. My daughter deserves nothing but the best and I will work every day to give her the life, love, and support she deserves,” he said.
“I will do better. For as long as I am accepted into our child’s life, ready or not, I will answer the call with my whole heart.”

“I promise you and to everyone that gets to watch this in the future that I’d really, really be the best mom,” she said. “It’s true that I’m not ready, but I don’t think anyone or anything prepares you for motherhood.”
She also hinted at a gender reveal in the near future. However, Meray’s reference to “my daughter” in his comment appears to have unintentionally revealed that the couple is expecting a baby girl.
