Bea Borres said her initial fear of being a single mom turned into gratitude because of her supportive family and friends, who vowed to raise her first child with her.
Hours after revealing her pregnancy to the public on Tuesday, Aug. 12, the 22-year-old actress-vlogger shared on her Instagram Stories how overwhelmed she is by the support she and her child have been receiving.
“I was so scared to be a single mom at first but I realized I have nothing to fear if these are the support I receive from people around me,” she said, showing screenshots of her conversations with her close friends including vlogger Zeinab Harake, and actresses Ivana Alawi and Barbie Imperial.

Borres then gave a glimpse of the intimate gender reveal party that she had with her family and her best friends, actresses Andrea Brillantes and Danica Ontengco. Borres even addressed the two as her baby’s “tatas,” a combination of the words tatay (father) and tita (aunt).
“My heart is so full. You are so loved already, litol pea,” Borres wrote.
“They say it takes a village to raise a child but how lucky am I to already have one? I don’t need anyone else to raise my baby,” she added.
