The incident even prompted discussions among DDS (Diehard Duterte Supporters), many of whom expressed difficulty defending their long-time ally.
“Ito ‘yung mahirap ipagtanggol,” one DDS supporter admitted during a livestream. “Paano mo ipagtatanggol ‘to kung kita naman sa video?”

Despite the backlash, content creators like Sangkay Revelation continued to cover the issue. His reaction video — peppered with laughter, disbelief, and political commentary — perfectly captured the public’s mixed emotions.
