“Omar Ermita was my truest introduction to fashion and beauty as art.
“Meeting him on a Preview set in 2014 taught me the meaning of the line: art wasn’t supposed to look nice; it was supposed to make you feel something.”
Ani Janine, iyon ang kanyang first ever fashion shoot.
“He was chic and sharp and funny.
“He gave me dark eyeliner and nude lips. It went so well that we were back together the next day for another shoot, this time for fun, again with BJ and MJ.”
Mula noon ay naging team na sila at hindi mapaghiwalay.
Aniya, taglay ni Omar ang complete knowledge of fashion references.
Sabi pa ni Janine: “We all looked up to him. He had the final say. If he said a look was better a certain way, it most definitely was.
“If we weren’t sure, we would ask Omies. If something wasn’t working, we would ask Omies. He always had the answers. He was our north star.”
