“Good evening mga kababayan! Welcome back to The Big V!” — and with that familiar greeting, the studio once again lit up with laughter, sarcasm, and sharp political banter. The hosts, led by Chris Ulo, Takero, and their crew, opened their latest episode with what they called “a mix of comedy and chaos.”
But beneath the humor was a serious topic shaking the political scene — a planned rally led by Kiko Barsaga, set to happen on October 12 at 10:00 PM, described as both anti-corruption and anti-BBM.
“Bakit gabi? Bakit 10 PM?” one host laughed.
The Big V team didn’t hold back. They dissected, criticized, and even joked about the upcoming event, calling it “the third attempt” of the DDS (Diehard Duterte Supporters) to stage a people’s movement.
⚠️ A Rally with No Direction?
According to Chris, the biggest problem with this new rally is not the schedule, but the lack of clarity.
“Wala silang malinaw na goal,” he said.
Takero agreed, adding that the event looks more like a repetition of failure than a legitimate protest.
💬 The “Kiko Barsaga Effect”
The name Kiko Barsaga has become somewhat of a running joke among the hosts.
This sparked laughter in the studio, but the tone quickly turned serious.
💸 The Funding Question: “May Kumita Ba?”
One of the juiciest parts of the conversation came when the hosts hinted that money might be involved in organizing these rallies.
“May narinig akong kumita raw diyan — milyon-milyon!” said Takero.
The studio erupted in mixed laughter and disbelief.
“Sa atin, walang ganyan!” Chris added. “Kami, suporta kay PBBM — walang bayad, walang pondo. Pero ‘yan mga rally na ‘yan, pilit. May nagfa-fund talaga diyan.”
🚽 From Protests to Hygiene Jokes
The hosts recalled previous DDS rallies that, according to them, ended in disarray — and, quite literally, bad smell.
Everyone laughed, but the message was clear: discipline and organization are missing.
“Walang problema sa rally,” said Chris.
🧩 Behind the Scenes: Rumors and “Meetings”
In the same episode, the team discussed alleged screenshots circulating online — showing a supposed meeting between a senator, two congressmen, and members of PDP–Laban. The names Kiko Barsaga, Marcoleta, and Maisog reportedly appeared.
The conversation then shifted to former congressman Paolo Marcoleta, who allegedly claimed that certain “paid vloggers” receive ₱7,000 a month from government agencies.
“Eh buti pa sila!” one host joked. “Sa amin, wala pang pangkape!”
🕵️♂️ Fake News, Arrests, and Online Rage
The hosts also addressed recent cases of DDS vloggers being arrested for fake news and even for violent posts.
The group blamed this culture of hate on online influencers like Maharlika, Roque, Celis, and others. “Paggising mo pa lang, galit na agad ang ituturo nila sa’yo!” they said.
⚔️ The Bigger Picture: Politics and Power
As the discussion deepened, they pointed out how the rally’s message doesn’t resonate with the public anymore.
“People Power dapat lahat ng tao — Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao — nagkakaisa,” Chris said.
They also touched on the rumored divisions within the military and police, emphasizing that most AFP and PNP officers still support BBM.
🎙️ The Final Take: “They Can’t Bring Him Down”
As the program wrapped up, Chris delivered his closing remarks:
Takero nodded. “Wala silang numbers. Wala silang mensahe. Wala silang tiwala ng taong-bayan.”
The show ended with laughter and applause, but the message lingered — the so-called revolution of the DDS has lost its spark.
And as Chris signed off, he left viewers with a challenge and a punchline:
