Adele and Ed Sheeran Travel to Germany to Cheer for England in Euro Semi-Final

Adele and Ed Sheeran show their love for soccer at UEFA Championships in  Germany

British music stars Adele and Ed Sheeran arrived at the stadium in Dortmund, Germany on July 10 to support their home team in their bid to reach the Euro 2024 final.

During the tense match, Adele was seen unable to take her eyes off the pitch, her face a mix of emotions as she anxiously watched the ball and then celebrated with joy. At times, the “Rolling in the Deep” singer stood up to get a better view, her eyes wide and her hands gripping a paper fan.

Adele attended the semi-final between England and the Netherlands with a friend. She wore a white t-shirt paired with a black blazer and standout gold jewelry. The 36-year-old singer sported voluminous hair, eye makeup, and nude lipstick.

According to Metro, in a video posted by former player Rio Ferdinand, the powerhouse vocalist was seen cheering excitedly after Ollie Watkins’ goal in the 90th minute secured England’s spot in the final.

In addition to Adele, Ed Sheeran also traveled to Germany to support the England team. The “Shape of You” singer, a passionate football fan, wore the team’s red colors. He was photographed smiling in the stands with friends, sitting a few rows away from Adele.

Both stars have expressed their love for football. In July 2021, Adele supported her home country after England lost to Italy in the Euro 2020 final. Wearing an England shirt, she posted a photo on Instagram with a message to the players: “You made us so proud! You brought the tournament home and brought people together.”

As a sports enthusiast, Adele is currently dating American basketball agent Rich Paul. She is frequently seen attending basketball games with her boyfriend.

Ed Sheeran is also often seen supporting his local team, Ipswich Town. In a video posted on Instagram, the 33-year-old singer not only attended the match but also left his seat to serve food to fans at the snack stand and spent time chatting with players in the locker room.
