On Monday, Boston Bruins goaltender Jeremy Swayman and his girlfriend, Alessandra Marie, visited the Bittersweet Shoppe in Boston’s Back Bay. The café is known for its cozy atmosphere and tasty drinks. It has become popular with celebrities, including Tom Holland and Zendaya Coleman, who were on Sunday. The café often hosts visits from music stars, athletes, and now, Swayman.
Marie, who once worked at the café, shared a post on her Instagram story. She called the Bittersweet Shoppe her “fav coffee shop in Back Bay.” The post showed her and Jeremy enjoying coffee on the café’s charming patio.

The café is known as the perfect place for an afternoon break. Whenever a celebrity is in the Back Bay area, the Bittersweet Shoppe is a must-stop.
Jeremy Swayman and teammate Brad Marchand’s special Italian mafia-themed Halloween
On Oct. 27, Boston Bruins goalie Jeremy Swayman and his girlfriend, Alessandra Marie, dressed up for Halloween with an Italian mafia theme. Swayman posted a group photo on Instagram with the caption “LA FAMIGLIA,” which means “the family” in Italian.
Swayman wore a black jacket with sunglasses and gold jewelry. Marie wore a dark fur coat and knee-high boots and styled her hair in a vintage Italian look. Bruins player Brad Marchand and his wife, Katrina, joined the theme. Marchand wore a white designer jacket, while Katrina wore an animal print dress and a fur coat.
The couple duo shared more clips and photos on Instagram, providing glimpses of their iconic Halloween dressing choice. In Marie’s Instagram stories, Swayman was seen with cash and a cigar. In one clip, he sat in the backseat, counting 100-euro bills with a cigar in his mouth. In another, he loaded cash into the car.
In one post, Marie joked about being his “mafia girlfriend,” playing on old fun rumors about “mafia ties” in the hockey community.
The couples also shared a video pretending to have a “family business” meeting at an Italian café-style table. The set-up was complete with cigars and stacks of cash as props.
Swayman recently signed an eight-year contract with the Bruins, securing his future in Boston.
