Steph Curry and his son Canon are set to appear in an upcoming video for Dude Perfect on YouTube. The father-son duo will showcase their trickshot skills, with Canon using a paper airplane in a recent teaser for the episode. Dude Perfect is one of the most popular channels on the platform and has featured NBA players before.

In an Instagram reel, Dude Perfect uploaded a video of Canon launching a paper airplane in the bleachers of Chase Center. He launched it with ease and had insane movement. It was perfectly thrown and was caught by Coby Cotton, one of the cast members of the group.

“The Currys are built different,” Cory Cotton of ‘Dude Perfect’ said.

According to Dude Perfect, Steph Curry will be a special guest on the channel’s next Overtime show. The new episode is set to premiere on YouTube this Saturday and was shot inside the Chase Center. Curry is expected to participate in several segments and trick shots.

Dude Perfect began in 2009 and immediately went viral for their basketball trick shots. They also started using other sports in their videos, leading to 60.5 million subscribers and counting. They even have their own show on television and go on tours around the United States.

They earned mainstream status when they started collaborating with many athletes and personalities. Some of the NBA players who have appeared on Dude Perfect include Luka Doncic and Chris Paul.

Steph Curry is quite possibly the most famous athlete to appear on Dude Perfect so far. Curry is a four-time NBA champion, a two-time MVP and the greatest shooter the game has ever seen.

At the age of 36, Steph Curry of the Golden State Warriors is still considered one of the best players in the world. Curry had a short offseason after participating in the 2024 Paris Olympics and helping Team USA win gold. He was superb in his Olympics debut, with back-to-back explosive games in the semifinals and final.

Curry remains a threat in the league, leading the Warriors to a hot 9-2 start to the season, which is good for second in the Western Conference. He had 36 points in a win over the OKC Thunder on Tuesday and followed it up with a clutch 37-point performance against the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday.

Speaking to Scott Ostler of the SF Chronicle, Curry’s trainer Brandon Payne revealed the secrets to the four-time NBA champ’s superb conditioning.

“There’s some of that (old-man strength) in play,” Payne said. “The thing is, physically, he’s in the best position he’s ever been in. … He’s just continuing to get better and better and better, and at this age, it’s quite remarkable.”

The Warriors play a short-handed Memphis Grizzlies on Friday as part of group play in the 2024 Emirates NBA Cup.
