Connor McDavid is the 99th player in NHL history to achieve this milestone. He has 1,000 points through 341 goals and 659 assists in 659 games.
Leon Draisaitl is the ultimate playmaker for Connor McDavid’s points

“That means everything,” McDavid said. “They are teammates, guys you go to battle with, the guys that have been here forever through the good times and the bad times. You build a brotherhood, you build a bond and we certainly got that.
“These moments are a great time to look back and appreciate the things and the people that mean a lot to you,” he said NHL.com after the game.
McDavid finished the night with two points, helping his team win 3-2 against the Nashville Predators in overtime. The Oilers improved their record to (9-7-1) and are fourth in the Pacific Division with 19 points.
They’ll be up against the Toronto Maple Leafs at Scotiabank Arena on Saturday. The puck drops at 7 p.m. ET.
