Chicago Sky star Angel Reese is enjoying her first offseason as a professional athlete, celebrating Halloween night on Thursday alongside big-name music stars. She transformed into the comic book character Poison Ivy, complete with green body paint, red hair and a dress and accessories themed around leaves.

The Sky power forward made a notable appearance at Megan Thee Stallion’s Hottieween party in Chicago, fittingly dressed as the DC comic book supervillain.

Reese has expressed that she considers Megan Thee Stallion, famous for hits like “Neva Play,” “WAP” and “Beautiful Mistake,” as one of her favorite artists, along with GloRilla, Cardi B and Latto.

Afterward, Angel Reese attended Usher’s concert at the United Center. The hitmaker behind tracks like “My Boo,” “DJ Got Us Fallin’ In Love,” and “Yeah!” wrapped up the final night of his three-night concert series in Chicago, held on Oct. 28, 29 and 31.

During the concert, Usher even interacted with Reese, playfully preparing to feed her a cherry.

Even before joining the WNBA, Angel Reese had established herself as a fashion icon. On Thursday, she showcased high-definition photos of her in the Poison Ivy costume on her Instagram. She posed with leaves that complemented her green body paint and leaf-themed attire.

In her post, she also included images of the comic book character, recreating a moment with her friend Wonder Woman.

Reese attended several high-profile fashion events this year, including the Met Gala in May and Louis Vuitton’s “Prelude to the Olympics” event in Paris in July.

Last month, she appeared at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, captivating the audience in a show-stopping red gala crystal-embellished fringe gown by Diotima.

Reese sustained a wrist injury that sidelined her for the tail-end of the Chicago Sky’s season. Since then, she has used the offseason for break before playing in Unrivaled.

Reese has two months left before she marks her return to the court in January in the 3×3 league.
