Usher had a rather awkward interaction with his friend and mentor Sean “P. Diddy” Combs in a newly resurfaced video. The said video featured the musicians appearing on “Martha & Snoop’s Potluck Dinner Party“.
The clip, reposted by The Shade Room, saw Diddy revealing what would be his last words before he dies. After taking a brief pause, the disgraced rap mogul then proudly said, “I did it.”
Hosts Martha Stewart and Snoop Dogg, as well as the audience and fellow guest La La Anthony, cheered for Diddy’s answer. Usher, however, looked uncomfortable as he was smiling awkwardly.
Fans quickly pointed out Usher’s unusual response in the comments section. “Usher looked so uncomfortable,” one wrote. “Usher was not entertained one bit!” a second user said, while a third noted, “Usher wanted to say, HE SURE DID!!!”
Some others, meanwhile, discussed Martha’s lukewarm response to Diddy’s answer. “Martha ain’t think a damn thing was funny,” someone commented. ” ‘Oh ok , here La La’ Martha has wiped me out,” another user penned.
The video re-emerged after Usher received backlash for endorsing Kamala Harris amid legal drama surrounding Diddy. People apparently thought that the “OMG” singer’s decision had something to do with the rapper, who is currently in jail for sex racketeering charges.
“Diddy tapes got something to do with this whole thing,” an Internet user opined. “These @diddy tapes are making a whole bunch of celebrities come crawling out of the woodwork for Kamala. Interesting,” another suggested.
Someone asked, “Is he really the one you want representing you? He loves a Diddy Party and so did she apparently.” One other, meanwhile, said, “Kamala Harris probably promises him that Diddy’s tapes will go away.”
“So, she’s switching back and forth from the Epstein list to the Diddy list… And this is supposed to make me want to vote for her?” another comment read. Someone else claimed, “Usher is at the heart of the P. Diddy scandal. He groomed Justin Bieber and then gifted Justin to Diddy.”
