A leaked audio of Orlando Magic guard Jalen Suggs was posted on X (formerly Twitter) on Monday. The footage showed Suggs getting into a verbal altercation with a fan during their 124-111 loss against the Memphis Grizzlies on Saturday. Based on the clip, a fan made a joke about the NBA player’s bald spot.

Suggs did everything he could on Saturday to beat the Grizzlies, but it wasn’t enough. The two-way guard finished the night with 21 points, seven rebounds and three assists. Still, the Magic found the Grizzlies too much to handle.

As if their loss wasn’t enough, Suggs had to deal with a fan who tried to poke fun at him during the game. During one sequence, the Magic guard was called for a blocking foul on Scotty Pippen Jr. He slid on the floor lying down, and a fan had some comments about his bald spot.

Initially, it was Franz Wagner who addressed the fan who joked about his teammate’s bald spot. He told the fan to “just watch the game.” However, it escalated and Suggs had to stand up for himself and call out the fan.

“Take that dewy [durag] off, n****,” Suggs told the fan. “Take that sh*t off, weak a** twists.”

Suggs and his teammates have dealt with a similar situation before. During their 2024 playoff run, the Magic players barked back at the Cleveland Cavaliers in the first round of the East playoffs. In Game 2, the Cavs talked trash to the young Orlando squad as they rallied a win.

The Magic came back biting, however, as they stood their ground and talked trash to the opposing team in Game 3.

Jalen Suggs and the Magic look to bounce back after their loss against the Grizzlies

Jalen Suggs and the Magic take on the Indiana Pacers on Monday, for a chance to get their third win of the season. In their loss against Memphis, Suggs had an excellent night and filled the stat sheet.

In the first two quarters, Suggs had a great display of outside shooting. The Magic guard didn’t miss from downtown as he made all five of his 3-pointers against the Pacers.

They played against the Pacers three times throughout the season. The Florida-based team got the best of Indiana, as they won two of their three games. Last season, Suggs only played against the Pacers once. The defensive guard had 18 points, three rebounds and an assist.
