The Slovenian basketball player scored 24 points, recorded nine assists, and grabbed eight rebounds, helping the Mavericks secure a 120-114 victory. However, a concerning incident during the game left Mavericks fans stunned.

With 1:10 left in the second quarter of Tuesday’s matchup against the Timberwolves, Doncic walked to the locker room while holding the back of his thigh and knee.

“I don’t know how I make those shots and not the normal shots. But, at the end of the day, I just needed to get the rustiness out and all the way back. I didn’t play the whole preseason, so I need some time. But we got a win, and that’s all that matters.” Doncic said in the post-game press conference.

If Luka Doncic cannot return to the game, Jaden Hardy and Spencer Dinwiddie will likely take on expanded roles in the lineup.
