Pippen remains arguably the greatest second-best player in a team in NBA history. He won six titles with the Bulls and the franchise retired his #33 jersey in 2005, to honor the legend. In the later part of his career, He played for teams like the Portland Trail Blazers and the Houston Rockets.
The picture is from last year from the same month. Pippen was in the celebrity row for the game between the Atlanta Hawks and the Orlando Magic at the Arena CDMX in Mexico City. The picture was taken during the second quarter.
Scottie Pippen reacts to his son’s impressive feat
Scottie Pippen played his last game during the 2003-04 season. After two decades, his son is on the floor, keeping his father engaged in the sport while the NBA legend is watching the game as a proud father.
Earlier this month, on November 23, Scottie Pippen Jr, and the Memphis Grizzlies traveled to Chicago to play against the Chicago Bulls at the United Center. It was the same arena that Pippen Jr grew up watching his father play for the Bulls.
Pippen Jr. made a similar exploit as his father did with the Bulls. He recorded his first 30-point game of his career. Moreover, his career-high was even more sweeter with a point-assist double-double.
In the win [142-131] against the Bulls, Scottie Pippen’s son Pippen Jr. had 30 points and 10 assists. Pippen Jr. shot 81.3% from the field and 50.0% from the 3-point line.
