Award-winning recording artist Usher took his “Past Present Future Tour” to Boston on Wednesday and brought out Ella Mai on stage for a special crossover performance.
Usher performed with the “Boo’d Up” singer on stage. Ella Mai notably earned four Grammy nominations and won Best R&B song for “Boo’d Up” in 2019.
Usher also joked with the audience about her rumored relationship with recent NBA champion and Olympic gold medalist Jayson Tatum.
The Grammy Award winner behind the hit song “Yeah” joked:

“She (Ella Mai) already got a boo I want no smoke from Tatum, not in Boston.”
Jayson Tatum and Ella Mai have been linked together since 2020 but kept their relationship largely private.
They recently welcomed their first child together, but remain tight-lipped about it. The child is the second for Tatum. He also has a six-year-old son, Deuce, from a previous relationship, who frequently attends his games.
Ella Mai joins Jayson Tatum as he celebrates Paris Olympic gold

Ella Mai joined Jayson Tatum as he celebrated his second career-Olympic gold medal in the 2024 Paris Games earlier this month. She was with the rest of his family, including their newborn child.
In a now-viral video post uploaded on Aug. 11, the Grammy Award-winning singer was spotted posing for photos with Tatum while holding their baby. Also appearing in the clip were Tatum’s son Deuce and mother Brandy Cole.

Meanwhile, Jayson Tatum won his second Olympics gold medal in Paris after Tokyo 2020. But unlike his previous stint with Team USA, he saw limited minutes in Paris, playing behind veteran superstars LeBron James and Kevin Durant.
Tatum played four games in Paris, averaging 5.3 points, 5.3 rebounds and 1.5 assists. His best game was against Puerto Rico in group play, where he finished with 10 points, 10 rebounds, three assists and a block.
But despite limited minutes in Paris, Tatum is viewed as part of the future of Team USA. He is expected to be among the key cogs in the next Olympics in 2028 Los Angeles.
