UPDATE: The Boston Bruins have cancelled tomorrow’s scheduled practice after tonight’s brutal 5-1 loss to the Columbus Blue Jackets.
So… what exactly does this mean?
Well, there are rumors flying online that the team has cleared its schedule for an important announcement. Could it be head coach Jim Montgomery’s firing?
I suppose we’ll have to wait to see, but it’s clear that something’s got to change in Boston if this team is hoping to get their season back on track.

Now, with the Bruins off until Thursday evening, you have to wonder if some changes are coming. There have been rumors that head coach Jim Montgomery could be replaced and you have to imagine that GM Don Sweeney is under pressure from management too.
