Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs ‘stopped inviting’ Prince William and Prince Harry to his infamous parties after the brothers started to settle down, according to a royal expert.
Author of The King: The Life of King Charles III – Christopher Andersen – made this statement after a 2011 interview was republished in which troubled music mogul Diddy talked about wants the two princes to attend his lavish parties.

“Diddy invited both William and Harry when the brothers were young men. Apparently, in their youth, both princes made headlines for their partying at nightclubs in and around London,” the journalist said. Christopher Andersen told Fox News Digital on October 2.

“Diddy intentionally invited them to the party. But those invitations were wisely declined. After William and Kate Middleton got engaged in 2010, Diddy understood and stopped inviting them completely,” Andersen continued.

Both William (42 years old) and Harry (40 years old) often go to nightclubs. “They could have easily said yes and attended one of Diddy’s wild parties,” royal biographer Andersen said. However, according to Andersen, “thanks to the palace administrators, they avoided trouble”.

Diddy (54) confirmed during a 2011 appearance on The Graham Norton Show that invitations had been sent to “younger guys”. However, Graham Norton noted and pointed out that William was about to marry Kate Middleton later that year.

“Don’t ruin our royal wedding,” the TV host jokingly pleaded, prompting Diddy to reassure her that the princes were no longer invited. “Trust me, they’re not on the list,” Diddy confirmed.

Diddy first met the two princes while performing at a charity concert in honor of their late mother, Princess Diana, in 2007.

Rapper Diddy is famous for his lavish parties that attract a series of big names. The parties have come under scrutiny since his arrest last month, charged with conspiracy to extort, sex trafficking and transporting people to engage in prostitution.

A raid on Diddy’s home in March 2024 discovered 1,000 bottles of baby oil as a lubricant allegedly used in the male rapper’s “chaotic” parties.

Diddy denies any wrongdoing and is being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York.

Diddy now faces a series of civil lawsuits. Texas attorney Tony Buzbee announced in a press conference that he is representing 120 individuals involved in alleged incidents spanning decades.

Diddy – a Grammy Award winner – is accused of sexually abusing more than 20 minors, including a 9-year-old child.
