La actriz fue vinculada con el narcotraficante Arturo Beltrán Leyva en una investigación de la periodista; confirmó que lo conoció, pero desmintió su supuesto acercamiento amoroso
Anabel Hernández, periodista mexicana conocida por sus investigaciones sobre el presunto vínculo entre narcotraficantes y personalidades del medio artístico nacional, dio a conocer que Ninel Conde perdió la demanda por presunto daño moral que interpuso en contra de la casa editorial que publicó su libro Ema y las otras señoras del narco (investigación donde fue vinculada con Arturo Beltrán Leyva).

En cuanto trascendió la noticia, varios medios de comunicación se acercaron a otras artistas que también fueron relacionadas con ‘El Barbas’ en éste u otros libros de Anabel Hernández. Entre ellas destacó Paty Navidad, quien respaldó al ‘Bombón asesino’ y lamentó que una mujer señale a otra sin una prueba contundente en su contra.
“A todas las mujeres que son criticadas y señaladas nada más porque sí, porque qué gana una mujer señalando a otra mujer de esa manera. Como dice, si tiene nexos, bueno, denúnciala en donde lo tienes que hacer”, declaró en un encuentro con medios.
Al igual que Sergio Mayer (artista y político mexicano que también fue vinculado con el narcotráfico en una investigación de la periodista), Paty Navidad explicó que es muy complicado que Anabel Hernández pierda una demanda por presunta difamación o daño moral por la manera en que redacta sus libros.

“Nadie le va a poder ganar una demanda a Anabel porque ella escribe libros donde está muy bien protegida, libros donde dice ‘supuesta y alegadamente, se dice, se rumora’; está escrito de una manera chismosa.”
Finalmente, le mandó un mensaje:
“A Anabel Hernández le he dicho una y mil veces que conmigo ha sido una mentirosa, con todo respeto. Yo ya dije lo que es, lo que no es, y de mí no tiene nada que decir ni ella ni nadie, lo escribe en un libro de ficción, pero en sí, de mí nadie tiene nada qué decir de dónde he trabajado y lo que me he ganado me lo he ganado trabajando a pulso, siendo profesional, disciplinada.”

“Yo estaba en un antro cuando un grupo de mujeres, se acercaron a decirme que había un tío suyo quien cumplía años y era muy fan mío, pero estaba enfermo (…) Yo no sabía a quién le iba a cantar, me conmovió, él ya no vive, salí de ahí bien, sin problemas, no tuve un amante ni nada.”
Según Navidad, su único acercamiento con ‘El Barbas’ ocurrió en un antro y fue completamente fortuito, sin embargo, la fuente de Anabel Hernández asegura que en aquella ocasión el narcotraficante habría intentado tocar indebidamente a la actriz, ella no lo permitió y se retiró.
