Recently, Ed Sheeran visited the England team’s headquarters in Germany. Here, the male singer performed a number of songs in front of the entire Three Lions team. One of them is “The A-Team”.
It is known that this is not the first time Ed Sheeran has visited the England team. The male singer often appears to cheer for players in major tournaments. At Euro 2020, Ed Sheeran visited and cheered England before the final match against Italy.
In Euro 2024, Ed Sheeran was also present for England’s 1-1 draw with Denmark in Group C, as well as the 2-1 win over Slovakia in the round of 16.
Sharing with Mail Sports after the match against Slovakia, Ed Sheeran said he believes the Three Lions can win Euro this year. He also confirmed that the next time he attends an England match, Ed Sheeran will sing the song “hey jude” – a song that the fans composed to dedicate to Jude Bellingham.
Currently, British players are in a period of rest and practice to prepare for the quarter-finals. Their opponent in the quarterfinals was Switzerland, who beat Italy 2-0. The match will take place at 11:00 p.m. on July 6.
