Nikki Patterson is, without a doubt, the biggest Eminem fan in the world. This is not just hyperbole. We, as the kids say, “have the receipts” in the form of 16 portrait tattoos dedicated to the real Slim Shady, writes inked.
The Guinness Book of World Records has proclaimed that Patterson, from Aberdeen, Scotland, has more portrait tattoos of a musician than anyone else in the world. Patterson has a pretty extensive tattoo collection with over 50 separate pieces, 28 of which are related to the rapper. But it was her 15 portraits of Eminem – she has since added another – that put her in the record books.
One thing that stands out about Patterson’s collection of Eminem tattoos is the quality – they are pretty good tattoos! Some people, like that guy with all the Miley Cyrus tattoos, are so obsessed with their fantasy that they don’t put any actual thought into tattoos. Patterson is the opposite, visiting respected artists like David Corden and Yarson on her tattoo journey.
Over the years, we’ve seen plenty of dedication tattoos for musicians like Kurt Cobain, Drake, and Biggie Smalls, but never have we come across such a devoted fan for a single musician.
It’s good that Patterson has chosen to show her devotion to Eminem through a collection of tattoos compared to infamous fan Stan, who committed suicide after receiving no response to the hundreds of letters he wrote to Eminem. Don’t be like Stan, be like Nikki.
