Stuart Skinner shrugs off doubters as Edmonton Oilers force Game 6 after thrilling win in Florida

“Just hearing you say that, that’s pretty. That’s, that’s quite good, to say the least,” Skinner said on his performance in a post-game interview. “He works hard, he does little things. I think what sometimes kind of people don’t see is how good he is in the defensive zone and how he grinds and battles, he’s able to get sticks in front.”

“Can never count the Oil out. Being able to get these two wins are obviously crucial. You know, we got another one to get back in Edmonton. So that’s our main focus right now.”

“Yeah, not too much has gone through the mind to be honest, you’re just trying to, you know, be in the moment and make the plays when you have to”. He also added, “The way that we were able to play and kind of finish it out, we were just getting pucks. And we were playing a very simple game.”
