Mike Trout is a name that will be remembered for generations in the MLB world. Trout’s strong career and sportsmanship have set him apart from several stars. The 11-time All-Star earned numerous awards and accolades throughout his career and is undoubtedly one of the players to wear the Los Angeles Angels uniform.
While many look at Trout’s successful career, it’s easy to assume he has no worries. Yet, even a star like Mike Trout had to go through a tough situation in his life. Trout’s brother-in-law, Aaron Cox, had tragically passed away. It was a heartbreaking moment for Trout and his wife, Jessica.
Moreover, Trout and Aaron were best friends. Aaron was drafted by the Angels in 2015 as a minor-league pitcher. In 2018, Aaron passed away with an inflicted gunshot wound. Aaron’s passing deeply affected Mike Trout and his wife, Jessica.
“Losing Aaron was probably the toughest thing to happen to me in my life,” Mike Trout said after his brother-in-law’s death via LA Times.

Trout participated in several initiatives to raise awareness of mental health and suicide prevention after the passing of his brother. The Angels superstar continues to contribute the same till today.
Mike Trout Hopes To Have A Strong 2025 Season
Mike Trout’s 2024 season did not go as expected after a torn meniscus in his knee. Despite his short stint, Trout smashed 10 home runs in 109 appearances at the plate. He recorded a batting clip of .220 with a .325 OBP and .866 OPS.
Trout is expected to have a strong and healthy 2025 season for the Angels. The Angels turned out to be one of those weak teams last season, and Trout’s absence made it worse. Angels fans are hoping for their superstar to get back and smash some home runs.
The 33-year-old has yet to get a ring and hopes to achieve his dream. However, many believe that it might not be possible with the Angels. Trout will be back in 2025, and MLB fans are ready to witness some greatness. Meanwhile, trade rumors are getting hot during this festive season.
