Karl-Anthony Towns and his girlfriend Jordyn Woods have been taking in the sights and events in New York City. The two arrived in the Big Apple following the trade that sent “KAT” from the Minnesota Timberwolves to the New York Knicks. Towns debuted for his new team on Sunday in a preseason matchup against the Charlotte Hornets.

On Monday, Woods shared photos of their time spent watching the New York Yankees take on the Kansas City Royals in Game 2 of the American League Divisional Series on Instagram. The model used a red apple instead of words as a caption for the pictures.

WNBA star Angel Reese promptly reacted to the post, writing in the comments section:

In the photos, Karl-Anthony Towns and Jordyn Woods wore Yankees jackets. The one Woods had on celebrated the 2009 championship-winning team. During the game, “KAT” and his girlfriend were featured on the jumbotron, allowing the New York faithful to applaud them.

Unfortunately for Towns, Woods and Yankee fans, the team lost 4-2 to the Royals. Salvador Perez’s home run in the fourth inning rallied the visitors to victory. The series is now tied at one game apiece before Game 3 at Kauffman Stadium in Kansas.

On Sept. 23, Karl-Anthony Towns hosted a birthday party for his girlfriend Jordyn Woods. Angel Reese, who seems to have gotten close with Woods, attended the celebrations. The Chicago Sky forward even posed for a photo with Woods and her sister.

When the social media influencer shared pictures of the event, Reese reacted:

Karl-Anthony Towns was still a member of the Minnesota Timberwolves when he hosted the party for Jordyn Woods. The couple are now based in New York following the blockbuster trade. Although they have changed locations, Angel Reese has remained interested and engaged in Woods’ Instagram posts.
