“Captain Hats” are now being resold on secondary markets for jaw-dropping prices. Listings online show that the hats are selling anywhere from $100 to as high as $285, as the auctions draw significant attention.
The craze for these “Captain Hats” reflects Klay’s popularity among fans. Even though he’s now wearing a Mavericks jersey, the hats symbolize a nostalgic connection to his unforgettable run with the Warriors. Klay Thompson Praises Kyrie Irving After Mavs’ Win Over Pelicans
Klay Thompson is quickly settling into his new role with the Dallas Mavericks, and his admiration for his teammate Kyrie Irving is already shining through. Following the Mavericks’ victory over the New Orleans Pelicans, Thompson couldn’t help but praise Irving’s incredible skill set.
“He’s so amazing with his body control, his handle, his shot, he’s really one of one. It’s a blessing to be his two guards. one of the best shooters I’ve ever played with. He’s a 3-point contest champion, and he’s incredibly efficient. Just look at his career numbers,” Thompson said.
With an 8-7 record, the Mavs now sit tenth in the West. Their next game is on Friday against the Denver Nuggets.
