Soto and his client, Scott Boras, met with every team that was interested in extending him an offer. After a long wait, MLB fans can finally put their thoughts to rest as Juan Soto is nearing the end of his free-agency saga.
Soto’s agent, Scott Boras, said that the slugger has already begun the process of eliminating teams. While there is no exact date, the All-Star is expected to make a decision by the end of this week.
“When you go through these things, you just have a lot of information to meld through. He’s begun the process of eliminating teams and doing things. Juan is a very methodical thinker, so we’ll see. I don’t think anything is imminent in the near future,” Boras said during Blake Snell’s introductory news conference via ESPN.

Juan Soto has started eliminating teams, and it is predicted that he could shift his focus from the Blue Jays and the Red Sox. Experts believe that the slugger will either lean towards the Mets or the Yankees.
