Jeremih, the RnB sensation of the 2000s era, has enlisted the talents of singers Chris Brown and Bryson Tiller for his latest release, ‘Wait On It’. Previously, the singer, who was missing in all the music industry action for a considerable while, made a commendable comeback with the 2022 LP release, Late Nights with Jeremih.
On the latest single, Jeremih is once again in his lover-boy bag, wallowing in lush autotune harmonies with Tiller and Brown, both of whom bring an undeniable charm to the record. Produced by Cássio and Retro Future, the track is a mid tempo foray into a lover’s quarrel, where the two are unable to find common ground and reconciliation after engaging in a toxic back and forth that benefits none.
The production is undeniably impactful, albeit minimal, and gets the job done. After all, who better to produce a track like this other than Cássio, who is famous for producing for an artist like Don Toliver, who arguably occupies a similar lane. Conjunctionally, Retro Future’s talents shine bright, resonating with long lasting synergy with Jeremih, built on years of experience collaborating and making the best possible whole.
The track comes paired with a music video boasting the suave and slick ways of the three RnB legends, and features a story driven approach to compliment the audio beautifully. Check it out below!
