Alaina Anderson is a fashion and fitness influencer boasting over 514k followers on Instagram. She also is the owner of an activewear company, “Keep It Cute Fitness,” that she launched in 2019.
Derrick Rose and Anderson were first seen together in 2016, shortly after Rose began playing for the New York Knicks. The couple welcomed two children together, their daughter, Layla, in March 2018, and their son, London, in May 2019.
Rose and Anderson got engaged in October 2021, after the former NBA MVP proposed to Anderson over a romantic dinner at the Knicks’ court at Madison Square Garden. He announced their engagement with a post on Instagram.
After almost two years of being engaged, the couple got married in September last year at The Beverly Hills Hotel in California.
Derrick Rose’s wife Alaina Anderson enjoyed Paris trip before Switzerland getaway
While currently enjoying their Switzerland getaway, Derrick Rose’s wife, Alaina Anderson, and their kids were previously in Paris two weeks ago. Anderson shared a series of snaps of her and their kids, including snaps of them posing in front of the Eiffel Tower as all of them matched in all-white outfits.
“Je t’aime 🌹” Anderson captioned the post.
Rose and his family seem to have made the most of his offseason as we approach the start of the 2024-25 NBA season next month. However, the three-time NBA All-Star is currently without a team after he was reportedly waived from the Memphis Grizzlies on Monday upon his request. This comes after Rose had previously assured that he would return to the team for the upcoming season.
“Yes, I’m coming back,” Rose said in April, per the Memphis Commercial-Appeal. “I talked to Zach. I talked to coach. … This summer, it’s all about attacking my rehabs, my workouts and continuing to be disciplined.”
Derrick Rose had one year remaining on the two-year, $6.6 million contract he signed with the Grizzlies last offseason. It is not yet clear what prompted the reported decision.
Rose concluded his 16th season in the league, averaging 8.0 points, 3.3 assists and 1.9 rebounds in 16.6 minutes of playtime per game in 2023-24. The veteran guard only played 24 games in the season due to injury.
