Leonardo DiCaprio has found himself in hot water apparently for dating Vittoria Ceretti. The “Killers of the Flower Moon” actor was deemed “creepy” amid his romance with the fashion model, who is much younger than him.
On Monday, December 30, the 50-year-old actor’s relationship with his 26-year-old Italian girlfriend became a hot topic on Instagram after one social media user asked blogger Deuxmoi if “Victoria has asked Leo about recreating I’m flying Jack.” The user was making a reference to an iconic scene from his 1998 movie titled “Titanic“.
In response, the blogger shared a series of photos capturing Leo and Vittoria during a romantic getaway. In the snaps, it could be seen that she stood close in front of him when they were on a yacht. The perfect pair appeared to be dancing at a fun party.
The pictures prompted social media users to voice their thoughts on Leo and Vittoria’s age-gap romance. In the comments section of the post, one in particular simply wrote, “So creepy.” Similarly, another chimed in, “At this point it’s very embarrassing for him.”
Meanwhile, a third pointed out, “She’s too young to get the reference…” seemingly reminding others that Vittoria was born in the same year the film was released. A fourth stated, “she’s not old enough to understand the impact that scene had on pop culture.” A fifth added, “She wasn’t even born when the movie was released.”
The snaps came amid Leo’s romantic European vacation with Vittoria. Earlier that day, other photos of the two made their rounds on the social media platform. In the pictures, it could be seen that they were having a blast when they went to a beach in St. Barts.
Leo was photographed showing off his skills in playing padel tennis. He looked cheerful as he played the game on the shore, flashing his radiant big smile. During the beach outing on the sunny day, he also joined Vittoria in the water while dipping their bodies.
