Gabby Thomas has shared which Taylor Swift costume she would pick for a costume themed show. Her choice of costume has already earned the admiration of many.

Thomas won three gold medals at the Paris Olympics, making significant contributions to Team USA’s triumphs in the 4x100m and 4x400m. She also won gold in the women’s 200m.

During her appearance on the ‘Ali on the Run Show’ podcast, Ali Feller, the host, mentioned Chari Hawkins’s Taylor Swift-inspired costume and asked Thomas:

“Which would you dress up as?”

“I haven’t dressed up for Halloween, sadly,” responded Thomas. (at 34:27)

“If this were a themed show, and we were like, ‘Gabby, you have to wear a costume, and you can’t say no to the show.'” (at 34:31)

Thomas said:

“I would do Enchanted Taylor. Yeah. I saw a clip of her performing Enchanted and that purple dress, the layered classic.” (at 34:30)

Feller also admired Chari Hawkins’ Halloween costume stating:

“She was reputation-era Taylor and like nailed it”. (at 34:07)

Hawkins, a celebrated heptathlete, wore a costume inspired by Swift on Halloween that she shared on Instagram.

A fan commented on her reel, showing support saying:

“Taylor Swift got competition!! How good is your voice?

While another said:

“I think Taylor Swift is your alias name, and it been you this whole time. How do you manage to be Olympic Athlete and a major pop star at the same time? This outfit is (fire emoji)”.

Gabby Thomas also shared on the podcast that Taylor Swift’s 2008 Song, Fifteen from the album Fearless, flashed in her mind after she won three gold medals at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Thomas further added that she always dreamed about the lyrics, “You’ll do things greater than dating a guy on the football team,” turning out true in her life.

On the Podcast Ali on the Run, Thomas said:

“I think back on my life, and I just remember these eras of my life. And I think back to certain Taylor Swift moments (at 14:11)”.

She also shared the memory of when the album was released:

“I think I was maybe 12 or 13 when that came out. And thinking, okay, yeah like maybe, I hope so. I have no idea where my life will take me. (at 14:34).

Thomas last competed at Athlos NYC, where she finished second in the 200m behind Brittany Brown.
