With the NBA 2K25 slated to release soon, 2K Sports has released the player ratings, and Steph Curry is the highest-rated Golden State Warriors player in the game at 95 overall.

Curry is the only Warrior with a 90-plus overall rating and is the only player who boasts the top-rated 99 for 3-point shooting. The four-time NBA champion also has a 97 ball-handle rating, which would allow him to get open shots despite tight defensive pressure.

Curry first featured in NBA 2K10 with an overall rating of 69 and crossed the 90 mark in NBA 2K16 with 93 overall following his unanimous MVP win in the 2015-16 season. He peaked at 96 overall in NBA 2K22, 2K23 and 2K24 before dropping a point for the upcoming version.

With that, let’s look at the NBA 2K25 ratings for all the Golden State players, according to the latest reports.

Golden State Warriors preview ahead of 2024-25 NBA season ft. Steph Curry

Golden State Warriors 2024 NBA offseason preview: Maximizing Steph Curry's window should be the goal - Yahoo Sports

After winning the NBA championship just two years ago, the Golden State Warriors did not make the playoffs in the 2023-24 season after being eliminated by the Sacramento Kings in the Play-In Tournament.

Since then, the team has bid adieu to a huge piece of its core, Klay Thompson, in the NBA free agency after he signed with the Dallas Mavericks. Before his departure, the Warriors had also waived Chris Paul from his $30 million non-guaranteed contract.

The spotlight is all on Curry as the Warriors look to make the most of his career’s final years. The two-time NBA MVP turned 36 in March, and it is unlikely that he can carry the team much longer with his teammates failing to step up. To get Curry the help he needs, the Warriors have onboarded De’Anthony Melton to a one-year, $12.8 million deal and Kyle Anderson on a three-year, $27 million contract. They may need to make more significant moves ahead of the start of the season.

Moreover, the younger players on the roster including Brandin Podziemski and Jonathan Kuminga have been showing potential and will have to significantly amp up their roles in the next season to have a fighting chance.
