Patrick Kane’s next destination odds have been revealed

Patrick Kane’s success in his return to the NHL this season has led Michigan to weigh the odds on whether he will return to the Detroit Red Wings or seek a contract elsewhere.

It became a spectacle during the season when Cain underwent hip resurfacing surgery that kept him out of the start of the season. His pending returned lead to significant rumors and discussion on which team would land his services and how he would play after having an invasive surgery.

The surgery paid off and Kane had a marvelous season to which he signed with the Red Wings for $2.7 million. He played fifty games for the Red Wings, while scoring 20 goals with 27 assists for 47 points with 16 penalty minutes. The team came within inches of making the playoffs but were knocked out due to a technicality on how the tiebreakers are set up.

Bet Michigan fields that the Detroit Red Wings have a 46.5% chance of landing Kane which puts them at #1. This is followed by the Boston Bruins at +800 or 11.1%, the Colorado avalanche at plus 850 or 10.5% then the Dallas Stars at +1000 at 9.1%.

It remains to be seen on whether he chooses the Red Wings and if his friend Alex Debrincat can talk him back into returning to the team for another year, however, Kane with the bulk of his career behind him will be looking for an opportunity to try to win another Stanley Cup before he has to retire.
