Ed Sheeran will make history early next year as the first international artist to perform a concert in the ‘Kingdom of Happiness’.
If that isn’t enough to make your clients who love the eastern Himalayan country happy, tickets for the January 24 performance start at US$10.
The Mathematics Tour is the first major international concert ever held in Bhutan.
The British musician will perform at Changlimithang Stadium in Bhutan’s capital Thimphu, followed by India and the Middle East.

Bhutan’s new gateway
Just weeks ago, Bhutan announced the opening of the Samdrup Jongkhar gateway on its border with India as a new international tourism gateway.
The gateway will give travellers easier access to the valleys of the east – Trashigang, Trashi Yangtse, Mongar, Lhuentse, and Pema Gatshe – known for their pristine natural landscapes and vibrant cultural heritage.

Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Employment, Director of the Department of Tourism, Damcho Rinzin says, “We believe this new gateway will make travel to the east more accessible and provide visitors with a truly memorable experience.
“Bhutan is a year-round destination, with each season offering unique opportunities and experience, and with the opening of another entry and exit point it will provide our guests more options to explore other parts throughout the year.”
