Ed Sheeran set to headline Abu Dhabi’s brand-new Off Limits festival
News just in…Ed Sheeran will headline Abu Dhabi’s newest music festival, Off Limits, next year. The festival at Etihad Park will feature over 20 artists across two stages, with Sheeran taking centre stage for a full-length, two-hour concert. While the lineup is still being revealed, expect a dynamic mix of genres, from pop to electronic to hip-hop, with regional talent also getting the spotlight.
According to reports, the festival will take on an “open format,” allowing for a seamless transition between various musical styles, ensuring there’s something for everyone in Abu Dhabi’s diverse audience.
Unlike his previous circular setup at Dubai’s Sevens Stadium, Sheeran’s performance will stand out with a new stage design. The two stages, created by German designer Florian Wieder (who designed Adele’s pop-up arena in Munich), will bring a modern, futuristic vibe to the festival, blending seamlessly with the futuristic concept of the event.
Off Limits is set to be a major addition to Abu Dhabi’s growing cultural scene following the Coldplay concerts in January. Our spidey senses already tell us Off Limits will be one of 2025’s most anticipated events.
