Music star Ed Sheeran recently visited England’s headquarters and performed to encourage the Three Lions players ahead of the Euro 2024 quarterfinals.

Ed Sheeran, the pop star known for hits like “Shape of You” and “Thinking Out Loud,” is a passionate football fan. He supports Ipswich Town and is a sponsor of the club. Besides Ipswich Town, Ed Sheeran also has a special affection for his national team, England.

Recently, Ed Sheeran visited the England team’s base in Germany. During his visit, the singer performed several songs for the Three Lions squad, including “The A-Team.”

This is not Ed Sheeran’s first visit to the England team. The singer frequently shows up to support the players during major tournaments. At Euro 2020, Ed Sheeran visited and cheered for England ahead of the final against Italy.

At Euro 2024, Sheeran was present at the 1-1 draw between England and Denmark in Group C, as well as the 2-1 victory over Slovakia in the Round of 16.

Speaking to Mail Sports after the match against Slovakia, Ed Sheeran expressed his belief that the Three Lions could win the Euro this year. He also promised that next time he attends an England match, he will join in singing “Hey Jude,” a song composed by fans as a tribute to Jude Bellingham.

Currently, the England players are in a phase of rest and training to prepare for the quarterfinals. Their opponent in the quarterfinals is Switzerland, who advanced by defeating Italy 2-0. The match will take place at 11:00 PM on July 6.
