Paul Bissonnette shared new details about his Houston’s restaurant attackers. (Source: Imagn)
Former NHL player and analyst Paul Bissonnette has once again shared new details about the November 26 assault in Phoenix, Arizona. On Episode 534 of Spittin’ Chiclets on Tuesday, he described the incident to co-host Ryan Whitney.
The trouble began at Houston’s restaurant when a group of men caused a disturbance and harassed the staff. Bissonnette stepped in to support the employees, leading to an altercation. The situation escalated, and the group followed him outside near a CVS dumpster. There, multiple men surrounded and attacked him.
Bissonnette managed to defend himself briefly but was overpowered. He escaped to safety inside the CVS. Police later arrested the suspects, who Bissonnette linked to an Irish scamming gang. He identified several individuals, including John and William Carroll, Danny Bradley, Sean Daly, and Henry Mesker.
The suspects are believed to be involved in fraudulent businesses and provided fake addresses. Bissonnette said their behavior appeared aggressive and erratic, possibly influenced by drug use.
[2:10 onwards] “I’ve seen guys fight on cocaine. And these guys were definitely on cocaine. I’d have to say… This last week has been a whirlwind.” Bissonnette said.
“And a lot has happened since I last came on this podcast to talk about what went down, and the good news is based on my recollection after getting bootfu**ed and co**eyed from the six Irish travelers, as we’re calling them, is about 95% of my recollection of the events based on what the cops have seen on surveillance is accurate. So I didn’t fabricate anything that ended up going on…” Biz added.
Paul Bissonnette is committed to ensuring the attackers are held accountable.
Paul Bissonnette described troubling details about his attackers
Paul Bissonnette described troubling actions by the group of men before and during his assault. He said the men, whom he identified as Irish travelers, caused problems at a Scottsdale golf club after being denied drinks. He alleged they were involved in illegal activities.
“We don’t know what we’re dealing with here. They have fake addresses, fake companies, scamming people with all asphalt and painting companies apparently.” Biz said.
During the incident outside Houston’s restaurant, one man tackled him while others punched and kicked him. Despite their actions, one suspect was dismissive about returning for his court date.
Earlier on Episode 534 of Spittin’ Chiclets, Paul Bissonnette expressed no regrets about helping the staff. He praised the restaurant employees and first responders for their professionalism. Authorities are continuing the investigation, and the suspects face upcoming court dates.
