Tyrese Haliburton of the Indiana Pacers and his girlfriend, Jade Jones, celebrated Halloween a little early. Haliburton and Jones dressed up over the weekend ahead of the NBA’s opening night on Oct. 22.
In one of her Instagram stories, Jones shared an image of herself with the Pacers star. She was wearing a heart corset dress, a look popularized by singer Sabrina Carpenter. Haliburton, on the other hand, had an even more iconic look – Michael Jackson from the “Thriller” music video.
“Sabrina meets Michael,” Jones wrote.

Haliburton looked thrilled in another picture, this time sharing it on his Instagram story. The couple was enacting the famous zombie pose from the “Thriller” music video.

Tyrese Haliburton and Jade Jones have been together since college
Before getting drafted by the Sacramento Kings in 2020, Tyrese Haliburton spent two seasons with the Iowa State Cyclones.
That’s where Haliburton met Jade Jones, who is a native of Iowa, and the couple has been together since 2019. She was even a cheerleader for the Cyclones during her time at college.
Jones has been supportive of Haliburton from his time with the Kings until he got traded to the Indiana Pacers midway through his second year in the league.
He has turned into one of the best point guards in the NBA, earning a five-year, $260 million extension in July 2023.
The former cheerleader was also present in Paris for Haliburton’s first Olympics with Team USA.
Tyrese Haliburton opens up about preparations for 2024-25 season
Speaking to James Boyd of The Athletic earlier this month, Tyrese Haliburton opened up about having consistency for the first time in his career.
Haliburton is happy about the Pacers’ training camp and there was no coaching change this time around.
“This the first time I’ve had it where there’s been no coaching movement,” Haliburton said. “We have the same coaching staff, let alone the same group of guys.
“So, this is really refreshing, really exciting, because it’s less about teaching and more of the detail work and complex stuff and getting to those quicker. That’s been so refreshing and so fun for me, and I think that’s gonna make us so good moving forward.”
Haliburton and the Pacers are coming off their first trip to the Eastern Conference finals since 2013.
They lost to the Boston Celtics in four games, although they were ahead in three of those. They could have been up by 3-1 if they knew how to properly close a game.
