The last time he was in the octagon competing, Chris Brown put the finishing touches on an LFA welterweight title. That was about a year and a half ago. Brown, who is always down to battle, has had trouble finding opponents to keep him busy. He has seen his share of fighters who agree to meet him only to back out at a later date.
Friday, Brown will return to action at the Hard Rock in Hollywood, Florida under the PFL banner. Thad Jean is the opponent for Brown. Jean has an unblemished record of 7-0. Brown will take a 10-4 record into the battle and a huge batch of confidence. He feels good about his chances.

“He’s a striker, tries to throw everything heavy, but I feel like his style is great for me and what I do,” said Brown. “He’s been fighting a bunch of bums. As everybody knows, I have fought the hardest people available every time I fight. So, I think it’s going to be a rude awakening for him because he’s not use to someone who actually is going to fight back.”
Although he’s been out of competition for more than a year, Brown does not think the time off will affect him when it’s time to fight. “The way I’ve been training and the progress that I’ve made, and like I said, over the last year and a half I’ve been getting better. I haven’t been taking it easy. I haven’t taken vacations or not being in the gym. I’m still in the gym every day basically, learning new tricks and adding to my arsenal.”
