Habs forward Patrik Laine was traded to the Montreal Canadiens from the Columbus Blue Jackets this summer. After the trade, Laine and his fiancee moved to Montreal into their new apartment.

He has now reportedly sold his downtown condo in the Miranova Tower for $2.3 million. The 4,031-square-foot unit, located on the 24th floor, was initially listed for $2.75 million in April but sold for $450,000 less.

The luxury condo features two bedrooms, two and a half baths, and an office with a Murphy bed that can be converted into a third bedroom. The kitchen is equipped with two wine coolers, a bar area, and a built-in Miele coffee maker. Additional amenities include an expansive patio and three garage spaces.

In 2021, Patrik Laine was traded from the Winnipeg Jets to the Columbus Blue Jackets. Per The Columbus Dispatch, Laine purchased the property in 2022 for $2.475 million while playing for the Blue Jackets.

Patrik Laine and his partner faced a hiccup while moving into Montreal apartment

Patrik Laine and his fiancee Jordan Leigh moved into their new home in Montreal in mid-October. Jordan shared the couple’s move-in day on her Instagram stories, giving followers a sneak peek of their stylish living room.

The cozy space featured a large white sectional, a sleek TV, and a plush Stewie Griffin toy sitting on a golf bag. However, their move-in experience had a small hiccup.

Jordan posted a short clip showing her and Laine stuck outside in the dark due to a power outage. With no power and only a fob to get inside, they were locked out, with Jordan captioning the clip:

“Insta vs reality: locked out of our new place in the dark with all these groceries because the power is out.”

Despite the setback, the couple kept their spirits high and gave a thumbs-up to the camera.

In addition to settling into their new home, Patrik and Jordan celebrated their first Canadian Thanksgiving in Montreal. The couple joined Laine’s teammate, Nick Suzuki, and his fiancee, Caitlin Fitzgerald for dinner. The gathering featured classic Thanksgiving dishes like turkey, stuffing, and pumpkin pie, with Jordan sharing photos of the spread.

Patrik Laine, who has been sidelined all season due to a knee injury sustained during the preseason, is making progress toward returning to the Montreal Canadiens lineup. However, Coach Martin St. Louis has tempered expectations, stating that while Laine is getting closer, he does not expect the winger to return to the lineup before the end of the week.
