Born in Maryland, attended college in Louisiana, and now playing in Chicago! Angel Reese has traveled around the country, but now that she’s attending an NFL Sunday after her rookie season in the WNBA is over, who is she really supporting? All in for the ‘Windy City’, it seems!

Resharing an X post from ‘Bleacher Report’ that said Reese was on an NFL tour, the Chicago Sky rookie wrote in the caption, “i’m from baltimore but i live in chicago. this ain’t no tour sorry!” The post shows the 22-year-old in Ravens’ jerseys in two pictures but she’s clearly a Chicago native now!

Angel Reese Reveals Her 'Biggest Flex' After Losing WNBA Award to Caitlin Clark - Athlon Sports

Two weekends ago, she was in Los Angeles for the San Francisco 49ers vs. Los Angeles Rams game and then the Buffalo Bills vs. the Baltimore Ravens next Sunday. A huge NFL fan, two of these games can be attributed to her love for the places she’s lived. As for LA, maybe she’s just a big fan!

Reese also posted a clip from the game that the Chicago Bears shared on their X account. The W rookie uses the official anthem of the team and says, “Hey guys, this is Angel Reese here. I’m at the Chicago Bears game today, bear down.” Now that her own season has ended, Reese is taking time to get some rest in the offseason, though still with an arm brace.

After her rookie season ended on a disappointing note, Angel Reese underwent surgery for a hairline fracture in her wrist. She had already been out of the Rookie of the Year race, though she did receive one vote from the panel while the rest went to rival Caitlin Clark.

Although Reese does not seem too keen on attending the WNBA playoffs since the Sky missed the mark after losing 13 out of their last 16 games, she’s looking to other sports before Unrivaled begins in January. And her presence in the sporting world has been such that Reese even received a compliment from a Ravens player when she attended the game!

Marlon Humphrey showers high praise on Angel Reese

Angel Reese 'Filled With Emotions' After Season-Ending Wrist Injury

Without comparing two great rookie players, Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese, it would be safe to say that both have brought eyes and more attention to the W than ever before. And Marlon Humphrey is a fan.

When Reese attended the Ravens Game, a video from after the game made the rounds on X. It shows the Baltimore quarterback coming up to the Sky player on the sidelines and mouthing a few words. While there is no audio available, some fans guessed his sincere words to be, “I watch women’s basketball because of you.”

If indeed that is what Humphrey said, then kudos to Angel Reese! Although things may have ended earlier than expected, the Sky forward’s rookie season was one to remember, especially coming to the W after a highly successful NCAA career. Much like Marlon Humphrey, Reese has inspired many to pay attention to women’s basketball.
