On Friday, former NBA star Ron Harper’s daughter, Mia, shared a wholesome Thanksgiving photo collage on Instagram. It featured her brother, Dylan, among other friends and family. Mia Harper expressed gratitude for her family and friends in the story’s caption.

Mia is Ron Harper’s youngest child and his only daughter with his wife, Maria. While Mia Harper’s elder brothers are basketball stars, she focuses on dance. Because of her athleticism, she is the tumbler of her dance group, one who does the hardest tricks.
Mia performs for Studio L in Warwick and participates in competitions with different musical styles and size groups.
Meanwhile, Ron’s eldest son, Ron Harper Jr., plays for the Boston Celtics’ G-League team, the Maine Celtics. Dylan, the five-time champion’s second son, is making waves playing as a freshman at the collegiate level.
Ron Harper reacts to son Dylan Harper’s Big Ten achievement
Dylan Harper was named Big Ten Freshman of the Week earlier this month. His father and former NBA star, Ron, congratulated him for this on X.
“Let’s go! Congratulations humble and hungry,” Ron tweeted on Nov. 18.
For his freshman season with Rutgers University, Dylan Harper averaged 25.2 points, 5.0 rebounds and 4.2 assists in six games. He made history with his last two performances, recording back-to-back 35+ point games, the first Division I freshman in the last 20 seasons to do so.
Dylan is also the first Scarlet Knight named Freshman of the Week since his brother, Ron Harper Jr., won the award six seasons ago in 2019.

Ahead of his freshman season with Rutgers, Dylan Harper signed a NIL deal with Red Bull, making him the first male college basketball player to sign with the brand. Reacting to the news earlier this month, Ron Harper lauded his son on the landmark deal as he shared a link to the news post on Instagram.
“Making moves son,” Ron tweeted on Nov. 1.
In the post shared via the link, Dylan Harper reflected on his deal with Red Bull.
“It’s crazy to know that I’ve gotten this opportunity to be in the position to be the first college player,” he wrote. “Looking back on all of the hard work I’ve done, it’s really starting to pay off, and I’m going to keep on going.”
With his impressive performances early in his collegiate career, Dylan Harper is making a case to be a top pick for the NBA draft next year.
