Video: Angel Reese Reveals Disturbing Fan Encounter After Missing an Autograph Request
Angel Reese, a Chicago Sky rookie, recently shared an incident on her podcast, “Unapologetically Angel,” where she encountered a fan who quickly turned into a critic. After forgetting to sign an autograph, the fan lashed out, comparing her unfavorably to fellow WNBA star Caitlin Clark, saying, “That’s why you’re not rookie of the year. That white girl is better than you.”
Reese, however, wasn’t bothered by the comment and laughed it off, acknowledging that fame comes with its share of haters. She explained that despite her desire to interact with fans, it’s impossible to please everyone.
Reese, who had rapper GloRilla as her guest during this episode, has faced backlash before, notably from her recent podcast episode with Kayla Nicole, who also received criticism. While Kayla admitted she wished she’d handled some questions differently, Reese stood firm, choosing not to address any of the controversy.
Having dealt with public scrutiny since her college days, Reese seems unfazed by the criticism that often accompanies her growing fame.
