Former Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Trevor Bauer has claimed his hands on the LMB championship trophy with the Diablos Rojos del Mexico in 2024, and his agent Rachel Luba couldn’t be happier with her client’s endeavors after a difficult few years in his professional career.

Luba shared some moments on the field with Bauer and his family members as the Red Devils of Mexico claimed their hands on the 17th LMB championship title in franchise history.

Luba shared several images on Instagram, showcasing Bauer with his parents, friends, teammates and team personnel celebrating their triumphant night. She wrote in the caption:

“Champagne-soaked hair and couldn’t be happier. The celebrating has just begun! Haven’t had time to go through all the pix, but here’s a start to the madness! FELICIDADES TO THE CHAMPIONS OF MEXICO, @diablosrojosmx!”

The Diablos Rojos del Mexico made easy work of the North Zone champions, Sultanes de Monterrey, in the best-of-seven LMB championship series. Trevor Bauer started and won Game 3 of the series.

Bauer pitched six immaculate shutout innings, giving up four hits and also striking out four batters on his way to help the Red Devils of Mexico secure a shutout victory against Sultanes de Monterrey by a 2-0 scoreline. This was Bauer’s third victory of the postseason.

With the championship victory, Trevor Bauer closed off a dominant year in the Mexican baseball league, which was earlier only supposed to last through six starts in 2024. But his impressive performances led the front office to extend his contract till the end of the season, and the move paid off in gold for the organization in the end.

In yet another celebratory post on Instagram, Rachel Luba wrote:

“What an unbelievably historic season for this Front Office. They put together the best team in the history of the League—setting a historic winning percentage record—and finally got their 17th championship after 10 long years! It’s been one magical season – gracias por todo amigos”

Trevor Bauer finished the season with 10 victories and a league-leading 120 strikeouts with a 2.48 ERA. He even produced a historic night against the Guerreros de Oaxaca on June 21, setting a single-game strikeout record in the LMB after striking out 19 batters in 8.2 innings pitched.

Winning the Mexican Baseball League championship title is a step in the right direction for Trevor Bauer and his agent Rachel Luba as they continue to make an effective case for his possible return to the MLB.
