The ‘Drop It Like It’s Hot’ hitmaker said wearing the once-fashionable, tight pants would pose ‘a problem’

Snoop Dogg has shared the suggestive reasoning behind why he doesn’t wear skinny jeans.

The American rapper and record producer, 52, is known for his iconic style as well as his music.

While you’d be forgiven for struggling to imagine him in a pair of tight, stretched denims, Snoop Dogg has revealed exactly why he doesn’t bother with them.

“I’m skinny, so it’s going to be a problem getting in and out of these motherf*****s,” he told PEOPLE.

Snoop then quipped: “There’s a certain limit to the skinny, you know what I’m saying?”

He went on: “We can’t do that, because I can’t have nobody helping me take my pants off like this, ‘Pull it off for me.’ We ain’t doing that. We are not doing that.”

The ‘Drop It Like It’s Hot’ hitmaker is often seen sporting his signature plaid shirts, baggy jeans, and oversized letterman jackets.

And he kept heads turning at the recent summer Olympics in Paris with his eccentric outfit choices.

Who can forget when he turned up in full equestrian gear at the Dressage team grand prix special?

He wore his support for Team USA on his sleeve – quite literally.

Snoop rocked up to matches wearing jackets and shirts emblazoned with the faces of Team USA athletes, complete with a huge pair of Olympic ring sunglasses.

Talk about dedication!

But Snoop wasn’t in attendance just to strut his stuff. He was there working with for NBC as a special correspondent – and reportedly raked in a massive $500,000 (£375,000) a day while he was at it.

Snoop praises stylist and designer Talia Coles for keeping him looking sharp over the years.

Snoop told PEOPLE how Coles ‘understands him’ and they ‘don’t ever clash.’

He said of their collaboration: “We work together as a great team of ideas and she understands fashion, fabric, she understands my look, my style.”

Coles is so trusted by Snoop that he makes sure she’s on board when he’s working with major fashion designers.

He explained: “If I was to do a shoot for Louis Vuitton or Gucci, I would have her go get with them so they wouldn’t pull out something flamboyant that I definitely wouldn’t wear because they like to be experimental in those ads.”
