The outfielder took Bryan Woo deep in the fourth inning of the New York Yankees’ 11-2 win on Tuesday against the Seattle Mariners. Soto became the fourth player to join the 40-home run club this season, and the longball also marked the 200th home run of the outfielder’s career.

Soto is now the eighth player to hit 200 home runs prior to their 26th birthday. He joins Frank Robinson, Jimmie Foxx, Eddie Mathews, Alex Rodriguez, Mel Ott, Mickey Mantle, and Albert Pujols, as the only players to do so in MLB history.

The outfielder’s latest home run also gives him 40 on the season for the first time in his career. He joins Judge as Yankees hitters to have reached the 40-homer mark. The duo is just the third pair of teammates in franchise history to both have 40 home runs in the same season. Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig did this in 1927, 1930, and 1931 while Roger Maris and Mickey Mantle did so in 1961.

His home run on Tuesday was also his first at T-Mobile Park. That gives Soto a home run at all 30 major league ballparks.

Soto is on pace to set career highs across the board this season. He needs two more hits and eight more RBIs to reach new single-season bests. The outfielder already has a career-high 120 runs and 40 home runs.
