‘I Can’t Trust Any of Y’all’: Angel Reese’s Candid Response to  Chicago Reporter

In a recent interview with the  Chicago Sun-Times, Chicago  Sky’s rookie star Angel Reese displayed a marked frustration, telling reporter Steve Greenberg, “I can’t trust any of y’all,” just days after controversially claiming that her rival, Caitlin Clark, receives preferential treatment from referees.  Sky head coach Teresa Weatherspoon addressed the situation, suggesting that the pressures and constant scrutiny faced by athletes are often overlooked. “I think sometimes we fail to realize what the athlete might think,” Weatherspoon said. “What is she thinking? How does she feel? I think sometimes we just fail to realize that because it’s almost like every time she speaks, there’s something wrong with what she says. There’s something wrong with what she does.”

Weatherspoon emphasized that the team’s focus remains on their internal dynamics and Reese’s well-being, stating, “She’s fine. She’s going to be fine. I mean, she’s fine.”
