A huge supporter of Snoop Dogg is Phyllis Austman. This 91-year-old Saskatoon woman not only saw him perform live for the first time on Wednesday, but she also met him afterwards.
In an interview on Thursday, Austman said, “He came and gave me a hug and a kiss on the cheek and I gave him a kiss back.” So the story goes.“His fragrance was exquisite. I feel the need to elaborate on it as some people misunderstood me when I used the word “fragrance.”She was even presented with a Death Row Records chain by Snoop Dogg.
The word on the street is that he doesn’t hand them out very often, according to Austman.
Around twenty years ago, she stated, she began to like his music.
When Martha Stewart was on, I tuned in. When she said he was an excellent grandpa, husband, and father. To rephrase, I judged him as a good person. Really mild.
She informed her niece that she wanted to attend his concert at Saskatoon’s SaskTel Centre as soon as she heard about it. Rob Suski and Shauna Foster, radio hosts on C95, were thrilled at the chance to throw the unusual fan a night to remember after her niece contacted them; they even arranged for a limo and red carpet treatment.
Since Austman had never been in one before, she found it shocking.
She left the concert with more than just unforgettable memories. In addition to a shirt and poster, Suski and Foster bestowed the moniker “Great Aunt Phyzzle” upon her.
Edmonton and Calgary are the next stops on Snoop Dogg’s “Cali to Canada” tour, which kicks off on Thursday.
