The recipients of the 2024 Silver Slugger Awards were named for both the National and American League on Tuesday. Los Angeles Dodgers slugger Shohei Ohtani, San Diego Padres de facto leader Manny Machado and New York Yankees captain Aaron Judge led the star-studded field.

The finalists for each position were already named on Nov. 4. All 30 managers and three coaches from each MLB team decided the winners.

In addition, the Los Angeles Dodgers were picked as the National League Offensive Team of the Year. The New York Yankees were picked as the American League Offensive Team of the Year.

NL and AL MVP finalists revealed ft. Shohei Ohtani, Aaron Judge

A day ago, the finalists for the most coveted award in both leagues, i.e., MVP, were announced by the Baseball Writers’ Association of America.

Shohei Ohtani was joined by New York Mets shortstop Francisco Lindor and Arizona Diamondbacks star Ketel Marte as the three NL finalists.

On the other hand, Aaron Judge was joined by fellow Yankees teammate Juan Soto and Kansas City Royals star Bobby Witt Jr. as the three AL finalists.
